To Help You Increase Your Sales

Set Goals
Unfortunately most Realtors go from one deal to the
next with out setting any sales and marketing goals.
Sure many of you have told yourself that you want
to do a specific number of deals a year, but if you
don’t have a written plan to achieve your goals you
will probably end up falling short or wasting a lot
of time and money. So make sure you set measurable
goals and develop your plan to achieve them.
2. Work out a Marketing Budget
If
you are seriously committed to growing your real estate
business in 2008 you must re-invest a percentage of
your sales back into your business for effective marketing,
emphasis on effective. A general rule is about 10-20%
of your gross commissions. Allocate half of your money
for online marketing and the other half for offline
or internet marketing.
3. Develop your own Branded Website
If
you are a Realtor without your own website you are
missing out on one of the most cost effective ways
to market your services. It’s no longer effective
to rely on your office website. To be a 21st century
Realtor you MUST have an effective website.
4. Focus on Building your Database
Do
you have the contact information of your past clients
and prospects in a contact management program like
ACT. A list of your past clients is your best source
for new business and referrals. One of your goals
for 2008 should be to focus on increasing you prospect
list and developing your database.
5. Set-up a Drip Marketing Program
E-mail is
one of the most cost effective marketing tools available
to Realtors today. But it’s greatly under used as
a marketing strategy. Offering valuable information
via e-mail to people is an effective relationship
building strategy. I recommend you send out
informative, educational e-mails once a month. You
can do this for about $40.00 a month, so start asking
people for their e-mail address.
