What's Your Success Attitude For 2007?
What
kind of an attitude does it take to be "successful"?
At this time of the year many of you are thinking
of ways to improve your life, grow your business
and achieve greater success.
One of the most powerful things that you can do to ensure your success is to have a very positive mindset. It matters not that you have the best product or service; without a positive mental attitude your success will be limited in your business and personal life.
Now
I'm not talking about living your life in some
pollyanna world
and ignoring your reality. The important thing
is not to just "think positive", but to take
proactive, positive
daily actions that will
help you move closer toward your goals.
Speaking of goals, have you written down your marketing and sales goals for 2007? If you don’t write them down and implement daily action steps to achieve them, then it’s all just wishful thinking.
You may be thinking this positive thinking, the "glass is half full" mindset is a bunch of B.S., but it has been tested and proven throughout the centuries.
Marketing works the same way, it is not just good enough to say you want to increase your sales in 2007, you must have a positive marketing attitude and implement daily action steps that will help you accomplish your marketing and sales objectives.
So as you begin the New Year with new hopes and dreams, take some time to evaluate your success and marketing mindset. Do you have a positive or limiting mindset? Are you open minded enough to try new ideas? What have you done on a mental level to prepare yourself to do what it takes to create the life of your dreams? Do you take proactive daily action steps to give yourself the best chance to succeed?
If
you haven't read them already, I recommend you
read Napoleon Hill's book:
Think And Grow Rich and The Power
of Positive Thinking by Dr. Norman Vincent
Peale. These are old books, but the insights
written on the pages are timeless.
I wish you great success in all your endeavors in 2007 and may you achieve all your dreams and goals. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
